Board & Batten Shutter Rustic Hardware Accessories from Agave Ironworks

Here’s a design example of one of the ways to decorate your board and batten shutters with Agave Ironworks Wrought Iron Hardware. Built to withstand the rigors of weather, all Agave Ironworks hardware is powder-coated to help protect against the elements with no flaking or white corrosion as normally found in aluminum pieces.

These non-functional board and batten shutters needed some rustic accents so adding 1 1/2″ clavos to the top and bottom of each board and 12″ desert trails hinge fronts to each batten improved the design scheme. In this scenario, an additional clavos was added to the middle board atop the diamond accent.
